Tehran/Washington. Iran’s Strait of Hormuz has turned into a battlefield. There is no sign of the war between America and Iran stopping at the moment. The US Central Command (CENTCOM) has launched fresh attacks on Iran.

Iran claimed that at least three civilians were killed and eight others were injured in the attacks on Saturday morning in Hormozgan province, adjacent to the Strait of Hormuz.

Centcom refuted the claim, saying that two oil tankers hit mines in Hormuz. This has caused an explosion. Iran’s military says it has targeted US military bases in Bahrain, Jordan and Kuwait.

The Tasnim news agency quoted Iran’s military as saying drone strikes targeted several US military infrastructure in Kuwait and Jordan, Al Jazeera, CNN, Gulf News and CBS News reported.

Iran warned that its attacks would intensify. Bandar Abbas officials have reported attacks on power facilities and the railway station. This confrontation has also increased tension in the Gulf region.

Qatar said it intercepted a missile attack near Doha. Qatar dismissed as baseless claims that it has agreed to military action against Iran. Dubai authorities have rejected claims of explosions in Downtown Dubai.

Centcom said that on the orders of US President Donald Trump, the military attacked Iran for the seventh consecutive night. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed that US air strikes have intensified compared to the past few hours.

There were explosions in the central city of Yazd and the southern cities of Lar, Ahvaz, Sirik, Bushehr, Bandar Abbas and Darab. There have also been explosions on Qeshm Island for the second consecutive night.

Local officials in Hormozgan province say the US airstrikes targeted two bridges and a tunnel in the province.

Hormozgan’s deputy governor said three people were killed and eight others were injured in attacks in several places in the province early Saturday.

The IRGC says an MQ-9 drone was tracked and shot down over Bushehr. Not only this, an American ship in the Northern Indian Ocean was targeted with a ‘shore-to-sea’ cruise missile.

The IRGC has also confirmed attacks on US military bases in Bahrain. The IRGC claimed that four ships supported by US forces tried to pass through the Strait of Hormuz but were intercepted during a joint missile and drone operation.

Apart from this, two oil tankers exploded and caught fire after passing through a minefield south of the Strait of Hormuz.

According to Tasnim, Iran’s military has carried out drone strikes targeting several US military infrastructure sites in Kuwait and Jordan.

These sites included Camp Udairi (Kuwait) ammunition depot, Ali Al Salem Base (Kuwait) headquarters buildings, ammunition depots and nearby connecting bridges, Muwafaq Salti, Al Azraq Air Base (Jordan) and military fuel tanks.

Meanwhile, Mohsen Rezaei, senior military advisor to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei, warned that if the US continues the ongoing conflict and military campaign against the Islamic Republic after the breakdown of the 14-point agreement, then Tehran will take action beyond retaliatory attacks.
