New Delhi: The ongoing military conflict between America and Iran now appears to be more serious than ever. Amidst the increasing attacks between the two countries, Iran has made many big claims, which has further increased the tension in the entire West Asia. Iranian media says that its army has shot down an American drone, while there has also been news of explosions in two oil tankers near the Strait of Hormuz. However, these claims have not yet been officially confirmed by America.
According to Iran’s state media and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), a US MQ-9 Reaper drone flying over the Bushehr area was targeted and shot down. The report claimed that this state-of-the-art drone was completely destroyed within a few moments. It was told that the cost of this drone was approximately 34 million dollars. However, America has not yet issued any official statement regarding this incident. In such a situation, this claim could not be independently confirmed.
Two tankers explode near the Strait of Hormuz
Iranian news agencies have also claimed that two oil tankers fell victim to an explosion in the southern part of the Strait of Hormuz. According to the report, both the ships had reportedly reached the landmine area, where they caught fire after the explosion. The Iranian Navy says that it had already warned ships not to pass through this sea route, but the tankers concerned did not follow that advice. Iran alleges that this area has become extremely unsafe due to American military action.
Claim of attack on American targets also
The Iranian side says that its missiles and drones also targeted US military bases in Kuwait and Jordan. Media reports claimed that the missiles fired towards Jordan’s Salti Air Base reached their targets despite the American air defense system. Even on these claims, no official confirmation has come from America or the concerned countries.
News of explosions in many cities of Iran
On the other hand, Iranian media has alleged that the US Army has intensified air strikes in many parts of Iran. According to reports, sounds of explosions were heard in different cities.
Several explosions in Yazd: According to Tasnim news agency, several loud explosions occurred one after the other in Yazd province of central Iran. After these blasts at the local level, security arrangements were further tightened.
Fars province also became a target: Major explosions were also reported on the outskirts of Las region of south-western Fars province. However, detailed details of the damage caused there have not been revealed yet.
Claim of missile attack on Ahwaz: Iranian media also said that Ahwaz, the main city of Khuzestan province, was attacked by American missiles. Quoting local officials, it was claimed that after this attack, security agencies became active in many areas.
Global impact may increase
The Strait of Hormuz is considered one of the most important oil supply routes in the world. In such a situation, the increasing tension in this region may have an impact on the global energy market. Due to the fear of oil supply disruption, the eyes of the international market are focused on this entire incident. At present, America has not given any official response to these claims of Iran. The downing of drones, explosions in oil tankers and alleged attacks in various cities have not yet been independently confirmed.
