Actor Randeep Hooda and wife Lin Laishram recently celebrated a special milestone in their  with a traditional weaning ceremony. Glimpses from the intimate celebration have surfaced online, showcasing the family's elegant ethnic looks. The heartfelt occasion marked the little one's first step into a new phase of life.

Randeep and Lin's makeup artist shared glimpses from the ceremony and wrote, "Every celebration tells a story, and this one was woven with love and tradition. Honoured to be behind the makeup for actress Lin Laishram as she and Randeep Hooda celebrated their daughter Nyomica's weaning ceremony, a heartfelt occasion symbolising a baby's first step into a new phase of life." A weaning ceremony, also called Annaprashan, is a traditional ritual that marks a baby's first solid meal, symbolising an important milestone in their growth and development.   Sharing details about their outfit, she mentioned, "Lin's radiant look was paired with an exquisite ensemble from Wangkheiphee Mantri, while Randeep embraced tradition in an elegant white ensemble accented with rich red embroidery. The makeup was kept soft, glowing, and effortless."

For the uninitiated, Randeep married longtime partner Lin Laishram in a traditional Meitei wedding ceremony in Imphal, Manipur, on November 29, 2023. The actor and Lin  , on March 10 this year. In a happy coincidence, the newborn shares her birthday with Randeep's father, Ranbir Hooda. A month later, the couple revealed her name as Nyomica Hooda. Explaining the meaning of the name, Randeep had revealed through a social media post that it means "Divine Grace, Freedom and vastness like the sky." The name was lovingly chosen by Randeep's sister, Anjali Hooda. Earlier this month, Hooda uploaded a heartwarming glimpse from his fatherhood journey as he turned storyteller for his daughter. In the candid picture from a book-reading session with his little one, he was seen sitting beside his wife while she cradled their baby daughter. Sharing the photograph with netizens, Hooda penned the caption, "Every storyteller dreams of finding a new audience." On the digital front, he recently earned praise for his performance in the web series .Work-wise, Hooda will soon be seen in the forthcoming biographical drama Eetha, which will feature Shraddha Kapoor in the lead.
