‘If rebels return, I will resign within an hour’, Abhishek Banerjee said amid rebellion in TMC

West Bengal’s ruling party Trinamool Congress is currently going through its biggest political crisis. Amidst the fierce rebellion within the party, TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee has taken charge. He has given a direct and open challenge to the leaders who have taken a rebellious stance. Abhishek Banerjee has said in clear words that if all the rebel leaders accept the leadership of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and return to the party, then he will resign from all his posts within just an hour. After his statement, the heat in Bengal politics has increased further.
