He also described One Nation-One Election as a political issue and asked the court to give a final decision to resolve the Gyanvapi dispute.
While talking to the media after addressing the Hindu-Muslim Ittehad Conference organized at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Scientific Convention Center in Lucknow, Maulana Arshad Madani said that an atmosphere of hatred is being created in the country.
Regarding the ongoing action on Jauhar University, he said that it has been made a political matter. Azam Khan may be a political figure, but Maulana Mohammad Ali Johar, in whose name the university is named, has made a huge contribution to the country and society. In such a situation, it is not appropriate to demolish the university.
On the Gyanvapi dispute, Madani said that if a solution is not found through mutual talks, then the court should give final disposal of the matter.
At the same time, on the issue of One Nation-One Election, he also termed it as a political agenda. Madani said that efforts are being made to increase the distance between Hindus and Muslims in the country, while all religions give the message of love and humanity. He said that ‘Allahu Akbar’ means Allah is the greatest and on the other hand people consider ‘Om’ as supreme. Faith should be respected by everyone and it should not be made a subject of controversy.
He said that Islam does not give the message of murder or hatred, but of love. People should read the Quran and understand that there is no message of violence or hatred anywhere in it. He claimed that for this reason a large number of people around the world are getting attracted towards Islam.
On the issue of paper leak, Madani said that the future of students should be the biggest priority. He said that the future of lakhs of students is being affected due to frequent paper leaks and the government should work seriously in this direction.
Madani said that he and his organization do not do electoral politics. Their aim is to give the message of love, harmony and national unity in the society. He said, “Whether we live or not, the message of love and affection should move forward.
