Raipur: The death of five members of the same family under suspicious circumstances has created a stir in the area. In the initial investigation, the police are suspecting suicide, although every aspect of the case is being thoroughly investigated. According to news agency ANI, Western Zone Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Rahul Dev Sharma said that the deceased have been identified as 50-year-old Sajid Ali, his wife Rabia and their three children.

Police say that at present evidence is being collected to find out the real reason behind the incident. The forensic team is also investigating the evidence found from the spot. According to officials, clear information regarding the cause of death will emerge only after the post-mortem report and other investigations.

Such cases are coming to light from different states

According to the information, in recent months, such cases of simultaneous death of several family members have been reported from different states of the country. Some time ago, there was a sensation in Mansa district of Punjab when dead bodies of four people of the same family were found. Similarly, bodies of a retired teacher, his wife and engineer son were recovered from their house in Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh.

Suicide note was found from the spot

Police investigation had revealed that the family was worried about their son’s future and not getting a permanent job. According to officials, a suicide note was also found from the spot, in which division of property was mentioned. In that case also, the police had investigated keeping in mind various aspects, even the possibility of conspiracy.

Case of suicide also came to light in Indore

At the same time, last month a painful case to domestic dispute came to light in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. According to the police, a man committed suicide by consuming poison after killing his wife. Later the woman’s alleged lover also committed suicide. In the suicide note found during the investigation, the husband had made serious allegations against a person while mentioning his wife’s extramarital affairs. Such cases coming to light again and again have brought issues like mental stress, family disputes and social pressure into the center of discussion. At present, the police is investigating all aspects of the latest case and the real cause of death will be revealed only after the investigation is completed.
