New Delhi:- Now school children are also seen falling prey to drugs in Durg, the home district of the Education Minister. The latest case is of Government Chandrashekhar Azad Higher Secondary School located in Panchsheel Nagar, Durg, where the health of 8 children allegedly deteriorated due to consuming drugs. Some of these children have been admitted to the hospital, while some have returned home after treatment. One child, Naitik Ramteke, has been admitted to the ICU.

Let us tell you that a 10th class student studying in the school fed banned medicine to the children studying with him by pretending it was chocolate. After this, the health of the children started deteriorating one by one. Children started complaining of dizziness, fainting and body stiffness. There was panic among the family members after the incident.
The children who took the medicine include Taneshwar Yadav, Harsh Sinha, Bhupendra Sahu, Vivek Kumbhkar, Naitik Ramteke, Tushar Dhimar, Lakesh Dhimar and Funish Nishad. Family members said that the children complained of sudden dizziness and fainting, after which they were taken to the hospital. At present, treatment of four children is going on in the hospital, while four children have been sent home after treatment.

Local citizens, drivers and pedestrians appreciated this action and said that such campaigns should be continued regularly so that the roads remain encroachment free and the traffic remains safe and convenient. Traffic DCP Dr Archana Jha has appealed to all businessmen and citizens not to encroach on public roads, footpaths and roads and cooperate with the administration in maintaining traffic order. In the future also, such campaigns will be continued jointly by the traffic police and the Municipal Corporation, so that safe, orderly and smooth traffic system can be ensured in the city.
