US Attack Iran’s Nuclear: Tension between America and Iran has increased once again. Both the countries have been launching fierce attacks on each other for the last eight days. Meanwhile, the US Central Command ((CENTCOM) said that more than 50,000 American soldiers deployed in the Middle East are on full high alert. The US military has completed another round of attacks on Iran.
“For the eighth consecutive night of US strikes, our forces successfully targeted Iran’s military coastal surveillance and air defense facilities, maritime capabilities, and missile and drone bases,” CentCom said in a post on social media platform X. Its objective is to continuously weaken Iran’s military strength.
America targeted IRGC
The US military also targeted Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). According to CENTCOM, the IRGC launched attacks on US troops in Jordan on July 17. There are more than 50,000 American men and women in uniform deployed to the Middle East, the command said. They are on full alert, focused on their mission, ready for action and able to respond when needed.
According to the report of China’s news agency Xinhua, the Iranian army claimed on Sunday that it has targeted American bases in Kuwait in response to the attacks carried out by the US on Iran and its civilian infrastructure, such as bridges. The Iranian army said in a statement released on its website that it targeted two places, Al-Adiri Camp and Ali Al-Salem Air Base, through drone attacks.
Attack on Iran’s energy plant
At the same time, the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran said that on Sunday, American attacks took place on the construction site of the Darkhovin Nuclear Power Plant located in Khuzestan province of south-western Iran. The organization condemned the attack, calling it a violation of international law. Earlier on Saturday also, the US Army had targeted Iran’s coastal surveillance and air defense facilities.
“In the eighth consecutive night of U.S. strikes, our forces successfully struck Iran’s military coastal surveillance and air defense facilities, maritime capabilities, and missile and drone storage sites in an effort to degrade Iran’s military capabilities,” CENTCOM said. US forces also targeted IRGC positions that Centcom says were involved in the July 17 attacks on US troops in Jordan.
