Amidst these incidents, US President Donald Trump said that he does not care if Iran does not follow the MOU. America’s only priority is that Iran should not acquire nuclear weapons at any cost.
Meanwhile, the United Nations-affiliated International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said that an investigation has been started into the reports of attack on Iran’s Darkovin nuclear power plant.
The agency said the plant is still in the early stages of construction. The last time the agency visited the site, there was no nuclear material there.
The agency said the alleged attack was not expected to pose any radiological threat, but Director General Rafael Grossi reiterated his call for military restraint around all nuclear- sites.

Iraq Lebanon President Michel Aoun has reached Washington amid tensions in the Middle East. This development has started a new discussion regarding the security and regional politics of the Middle East.
However, former American diplomat Nabil Khouri believes that there is little possibility of any major solution coming out of this meeting at the moment. He said that the condition for the Lebanese army to release weapons to Hezbollah is very sensitive and will not be easy to implement.
He said that if any agreement is reached through talks then the situation may change in future. At present its chances appear quite low.
