The Cockroach Janta Party continues to demand the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan for the alleged mismanagement of competitive examinations, stated the political campaign late on Sunday night.

It added that the march to Parliament on Monday, the first day of the Monsoon Session, “stands as planned”. The march will begin from the protest site at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar at 9 am.

The statement came after activist Sonam Wangchuk’s wife, Gitanjali Angmo, told reporters that he will end his fast on Monday “if political leaders meet him at hospital and assure him that they will raise the issue of education accountability” during Parliament session.
