Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has given its full strength in the Bankipur Assembly by-election. The frequent election tours and organizational meetings of the party’s national president Nitin Naveen have not only boosted the enthusiasm of the BJP workers but have also given a clear message of coordination and unity among all the constituent parties of the NDA.

Considering this as its traditional seat, the BJP leadership does not want any mistake and that is why the top leadership is continuously active in the election campaign. BJP believes that Bankipur is not just an assembly seat but also the center of political prestige of the party.

BJP has dominated this area for almost four decades. First Naveen Kishore Prasad Sinha and later Nitin Naveen maintained the strong support base of the party by winning this seat continuously.

To maintain this legacy, the organization seems to be active up to the booth level. National President Nitin Naveen is constantly reviewing the election strategy. He is laying special emphasis on increasing the voting percentage, booth management and door-to-door public relations campaign through meetings with workers and officials.

The party believes that organized workers are its biggest strength and on this basis BJP is claiming to maintain the electoral lead. On Saturday, the joint workers conference of BJP, JDU, LJP (Ram Vilas), Hindustani Awam Morcha and Rashtriya Lok Morcha also gave a strong message of NDA’s unity. In the conference, state presidents and senior leaders of all parties called upon the workers to fight the elections unitedly on a common platform.

BJP leaders say that the social base of all the constituent parties of NDA complements each other and this is the biggest strength of the alliance. BJP is not fighting this election only on the basis of its traditional vote bank, but is also making development, good governance and strength of alliance the main issues. The party’s strategy is to further broaden its support base by reaching out to different social sections.

State General Secretary of BJP Dr. Preeti Shekhar has claimed that due to the unity of NDA and the strength of the organization, the party will win in Bankipur by a greater margin of votes than before. He says that there is tremendous enthusiasm among the workers and the public has faith in the development work of the NDA government.

Although the opposition is also engaged with full force in the election field, but BJP claims that the organized organization, activism of the top leadership and the common strategy of NDA will prove to be its biggest political capital in this by-election.

In this by-election, BJP has made Neeraj Kumar Sinha its candidate. Jansuraj’s leader Prashant Kishor is in the electoral fray, while RJD’s Rekha Gupta is making the contest triangular. It will be clear in the voting to be held on July 30 whether BJP succeeds in hoisting the victory flag once again on its traditional seat.
