The earning momentum of the film has continued even in the second week of its release. The special thing is that despite the release of Hollywood director Christopher Nolan’s much talked about film ‘The Odyssey’ in theatres, ‘Dhamal 4’ has been successful in drawing the audience to the theatre.

The film did a combined business of Rs 15.75 crore on Friday and Saturday, making it clear that the craze for the film is still intact among the audience.

According to box office data, ‘Dhamal 4’ has made a business of Rs 111.75 crore at the domestic box office in nine days. The worldwide gross collection of the film has reached Rs 153.48 crore.

The initial earnings of the film have made it one of the successful comedy films of the year. However, it still faces the challenge of breaking the record of its own franchise’s previous film ‘Total Dhamaal’.

‘Dhamal 4’ had a good start with Rs 14 crore on the first day of release. There was a huge jump in the film’s earnings on the second and third day and on the weekend it did a business of more than Rs 50 crore.

After this, the earnings became normal on weekdays, but the film again gained momentum in the second weekend. This is the reason why its total collection reached Rs 111.75 crore in nine days.

The next challenge will be to break the record of ‘Total Dhamaal’

The previous film of Dhamaal franchise ‘Total Dhamaal’ was released in the year 2019. That film did a worldwide business of around Rs 232 crore. In such a situation, it will not be easy for ‘Dhamal 4’ to reach that figure, but looking at the current performance, the film is still in the race.

Directed by Indra Kumar, ‘Dhamaal 4’ is jointly produced by Ajay Devgan Films, Maruti International, Panorama Studios and T-Series. According to reports, the budget of the film is around Rs 150 crore.
