Ashadha Purnima 2026: The auspicious festival of Ashadha Purnima will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 29. Observing a fast, taking a holy bath, and performing acts of charity on this day hold special significance. According to the *Panchang* (Hindu almanac), the Ashadha Purnima *Tithi* (lunar day) begins at 6:18 PM on July 28 and continues until 8:05 PM on July 29. On this occasion, devotees observe a fast and worship Goddess Lakshmi alongside the Moon God (*Chandra Dev*). It is believed that those facing financial difficulties, lacking sources of income, or dealing with a weak economic status can invoke the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi by performing specific remedies on this day, thereby paving the way for an increase in wealth and prosperity.

**Auspicious Time for Wealth-Related Remedies on Ashadha Purnima**

Performing wealth-related remedies during the *Pradosh Kaal* (the period around sunset) on this day is considered fruitful. *Pradosh Kaal* begins after 7:21 PM. Meanwhile, *Nishita Kaal* holds special significance for *Mantra Siddhi* (attaining spiritual power through mantras); this period lasts from 12:07 AM to 12:49 AM on the night of July 30. A conjunction of *Preeti Yoga* and *Ayushman Yoga* is also occurring on this day, both of which are considered auspicious.

**Remedies to Attain Wealth on Ashadha Purnima**

To gain wealth, worshipping Lord Ganesha and Lord Kuber alongside Goddess Lakshmi during *Pradosh Kaal* is considered highly auspicious. Doing so brings stability to one's wealth and strengthens the financial situation.

After sunset, as darkness sets in, light a *ghee* (clarified butter) lamp and offer it to the deities in your home shrine. Afterward, create a beautiful *Rangoli* at the main entrance of the house and place the same lamp there. Ensure that the main entrance remains open while the lamp is burning. Additionally, one should avoid sweeping the house during *Pradosh Kaal*.

After the worship, chanting the *Mahalakshmi Mantra* using a rosary made of lotus seeds (*Kamal Gatta*) is considered beneficial. Regular chanting of the mantra “Om Shreem Hreem Shreem Kamale Kamalalaye Praseeda Praseeda Om Shreem Hreem Shreem Om Mahalakshmyai Namah” is believed to aid in increasing wealth. Alternatively, one may chant “Om Hreem Shreem Lakshmibhyo Namah” or “Om Shreem Mahalakshmyai Namah.” Chanting these mantras during the *Nishita Kaal* (the auspicious period around midnight) yields special benefits.

To maintain happiness, peace, and prosperity within the family, worshipping Lord Vishnu alongside Goddess Lakshmi on this day is considered highly auspicious. Offering a lotus flower during the worship brings auspicious results and fosters harmony in marital life.

Additionally, wearing a silver ring shaped like a tortoise on the index finger of the right hand on the evening of *Ashadh Purnima* is considered auspicious. The tortoise is regarded as a symbol of Lord Vishnu’s *Kurma* (tortoise) avatar; wearing this symbol is believed to bring happiness, prosperity, and stability to one's life.
