Desk. On July 20, Shabana Azmi raised her voice by joining CJP’s ‘Chalo Sansad’ march, a day after coming out in support of the hunger striking protesters at Jantar Mantar.
During the march, Shabana Azmi said, ‘We all have come here for peaceful protest. This is our right, which has been given to us by our Constitution. Mahatma Gandhi taught us how to protest peacefully, and we are following the same path. We have no intention of doing any kind of violence.

During the march, other protesters were also seen with them and were seen supporting 75 year old Shabana and walking with her. When asked why other Bollywood stars were not seen in this march, Shabana gave a stern answer. He said, ‘You are only focusing on why Bollywood people are not here. Why don’t you ask why there are no big industrialists and businessmen?
By asking such questions, you are diverting attention from the real issue and creating unnecessary controversy. You should support those who are marching for this issue, not undermine it.
