Before the beginning of the monsoon session of Parliament, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati gave advice to the central and state governments and said that in view of the current political, economic and social situation of the country, confrontation should be avoided from Parliament to the streets. He demanded immediate concrete and strict action from the governments regarding paper leak, education system and the future of the youth.

‘Confrontation situation should be avoided in Parliament and on the streets’

Mayawati wrote on social media platform He said that in view of the current situation in the country, all parties should act wisely and with restraint so that any kind of conflict can be avoided.

The BSP chief said that medical and other all-India competitive examinations as well as state recruitment examinations are being continuously affected due to paper leaks and irregularities. Youth and unemployed candidates are suffering the most loss due to this. He said that the anger and agitation of youth across the country reflects this concern, hence governments should take immediate and effective action on this problem.

Demand for strict action against the culprits

Mayawati said that those responsible for irregularities in the examination system should be held accountable. He demanded that strict legal action should be taken against officials holding high positions to examination arrangements, so that such incidents are not repeated in future and the confidence of the youth remains intact. He said that due to the poor quality of government schools in many states including Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi, private schools and coaching institutes are expanding rapidly.

Mayawati appealed to the governments-

1- The government education system should be strengthened from primary to higher education.
2- Transparent and corruption-free monitoring should be maintained on coaching institutes.
3- Quality education and better opportunities should be provided to the students.
4- ‘Youth want permanent and respectable employment’

The BSP supremo said that despite inflation and economic challenges, the youth of the country want to get permanent and respectable employment by getting better education. It is the responsibility of governments to provide quality education and better employment opportunities to the youth. Mayawati said that the progress of any country is not determined only by GDP growth, but by a strong education system and an educated society. Referring to the views of the creator of the Constitution, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, he said that an educated, safe and welfare India is the basis of real development.

CJP movement also mentioned

In her statement, Mayawati said that if governments take timely effective steps on issues to youth, then there will be no incidents of movements like Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. He appealed to the government to adopt a sympathetic attitude towards the protesters and find a solution through dialogue.
