Another grand and historical epic is going to be added to the history of Indian cinema. National Award winner and ‘Kantara’ fame actor Rishabh Shetty’s upcoming film ‘The Pride of Bharat: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’ is becoming the talk of the town these days. To make the film of international standard, the makers have started spending money like water. According to the latest reports, Hollywood’s famous stunt and action team has been signed to make the war scenes and sword fighting scenes of the film realistic and extremely dangerous. The team includes international stunt experts who have worked in famous shows like ‘Game of Thrones’ and ‘Vikings’, who are ready to give a hair-raising cinematic experience to the Indian audience.

The canvas of this film being made under the direction of Sandeep Singh is so big that the makers have decided to make it as a two-part epic saga instead of a single film. According to reports coming from the corridors of the film industry, the estimated budget of this historical project has been kept at more than Rs 500 crore, which makes it included in the list of the most expensive historical films of Indian cinema. The first part of the film may hit the theaters in the year 2028, while its second part is being planned to be released in the year 2029. A major part of the shooting of the film will be done at the real and historical forts and locations of Maharashtra, where Shivaji Maharaj laid the foundation of Hindavi Swarajya.

There have also been big revelations regarding the star cast of this Rishabh Shetty starrer film. While Rishabh Shetty’s strong look as the main hero i.e. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the film has won the hearts of the fans, two big Bollywood stars have also entered the film. If reports are to be believed, Vivek Oberoi and Arjun Rampal will also be seen in very important and powerful roles in the film. Although the makers have not yet officially revealed the characters of both, it is believed that they can be seen in the roles of loyal generals of the Maratha Empire or big villains of the Mughal/Adilshahi. This power-packed star cast has increased the curiosity about the film among the fans manifold.
Shooting will start after ‘Jai Hanuman’ and ‘Kantara 1’: Rishabh Shetty’s tight schedule
Actor and director Rishabh Shetty is one of the busiest actors in Indian cinema at the moment. He will complete his other commitments before going on the shooting of this historical film. Currently he is working on his much-awaited film ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’ and Prashant Verma’s cinematic universe film ‘Jai Hanuman’, in which he will be seen as Lord Hanuman. Soon after completing both these big projects, Rishabh Shetty will completely begin his physical transformation for ‘The Pride of India’ and will attend workshops with the Hollywood stunt team for special training in fencing and horse riding.
