What did Russia say?
Russian air defense systems have shot down 774 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones and 13 guided aerial bombs over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement on Sunday. The ministry said Russian forces carried out drone and air strikes on Ukrainian military targets throughout the night.
The ministry said that the attacks targeted the infrastructure of the Odessa port, which is used to unload fuel and lubricants. Additionally, fuel storage centers providing support to the Ukrainian army were also targeted.
The ministry further said that a container ship unloading ammunition at the Chornomorsk port in Ukraine’s Odessa region was also attacked. Russian forces also targeted a dry cargo ship near Snake Island in the Black Sea, which was carrying goods for the Ukrainian military.
