Whereas, left arm all-rounder Shams Mulani has been made his deputy.

A total of 5 matches will be played. This tournament will be played between 23 August and 10 September. According to reports, West Zone will face North Zone in the quarter final-2 of this tournament from 23rd to 26th August.
Rituraj Gaikwad became captain
Last year, Indian star all-rounder Shardul Thakur was seen captaining the West Zone. Under his captaincy the team reached the semi-finals. Shardul is a part of the team this time too, but this time the responsibility of the team has been handed over to Rituraj Gaikwad.
