In the Total Solution Day organized in Tehsil Koraon, the problems of the common people were heard under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Manish Kumar Verma. A large number of complainants reached the Samadhan Diwas with their problems. The District Magistrate directed the officers of all departments to ensure timely, transparent and quality disposal of public complaints.
During Samadhan Diwas, major complaints to various departments including illegal occupation of land, water logging, damaged drinking water pipelines, drainage problems, road construction, encroachment on public land and properties came to the fore. The District Magistrate instructed the officials of the concerned departments to ensure prompt and effective action by conducting on-site inspection of each complaint. He said that the revenue and police departments should resolve the cases of land disputes and illegal occupations on priority basis with mutual coordination.
During the public hearing, elderly disabled person Dwarika Prasad, who came demanding housing, presented his problem before the District Magistrate. Taking the matter seriously, the District Magistrate directed the concerned officers to check the eligibility and provide housing on priority basis under the government schemes, so that the eligible person can get the benefit soon.
A total of 642 complaints to various departments were received during the Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas, out of which 5 complaints were resolved on the spot. Instructions were given to hand over the remaining complaints to the concerned departments and ensure quality disposal within the stipulated time limit.
