Manchester City has announced an exclusive auction featuring items from Pep Guardiola’s office, offering fans a rare chance to own a piece of the manager’s legacy at the club.

Included in the collection are the actual coffee cups used by Guardiola himself, giving supporters a tangible connection to his successful tenure in Manchester.

The auction features a diverse range of memorabilia from his office, such as his chair, desk lamp, whistle, and several framed photographs. Also up for bidding are some of his training tops, his winter jacket, and even his personal selection of incense sticks, complete with a box of matches.

For fans fascinated by Guardiola’s tactical genius, one of the standout items is a set of two pitch notebooks containing his handwritten strategies, accompanied by his pens.

While these personal artefacts have generated considerable interest, early bids reveal that the most sought-after item is a limited-edition commemorative ball celebrating Erling Haaland’s achievement of 100 Premier League goals. Only three of these balls were ever made, and the price has already climbed into four figures. Each ball comes presented in a special display case.

The auction is scheduled to close at the end of the week, with part of the proceeds going to Manchester City’s official charity, City in the Community.

Guardiola departed City this summer, concluding a decade-long spell that saw him capture six Premier League titles, a Champions League trophy, three FA Cups, and five League Cups.

The 55-year-old tactician is now reportedly being considered for the vacant Italy managerial post. The Azzurri failed to qualify for a third consecutive World Cup in March after losing their play-off final to Bosnia and Herzegovina, which prompted the exit of Gennaro Gattuso.

Italian football legend Paolo Maldini, recently appointed as the technical director of the FIGC, travelled to Barcelona with advisor Leonardo to meet the Catalan coach. They presented Guardiola with a four-year plan, with the Spaniard said to be focusing more on the project’s vision than the financial package.

It remains uncertain whether Guardiola will accept the role, but the FIGC is reportedly making a strong push to persuade him, with Maldini and Leonardo spending three days in discussions with the former Manchester City boss.
