Anubis is a boss that you cannot simply beat without a plan. This is what you can do.

• The first thing to make sure of is to reach at least level 43 before attempting the fight; otherwise, level scaling makes his attacks hit way too hard and reduces your damage output.
• The other thing to take care of is to pack a high-damage weapon like a pump shotgun or assault rifle, and bring a rocket launcher to knock him down and disrupt his dangerous moves that will soon scale up.
• Along with the hits, you must also equip a high-tier shield to absorb stray hits, and carry 15 to 20 legendary spheres if you plan to capture him instead of killing him.
• You need to build a full team of grass-type pals like Verdash, Mammorest, or Lyleen, which naturally resist his ground moves while dealing boosted damage. This is what you must do; exploit the weakness and assert your strength.
  A recommendation is to stay at mid-range during the fight and keep moving in circles to avoid his fast-paced martial arts combos.
• Also, try to dodge sideways the moment he lunges forward for his punching dash, rather than rolling too early. This would make the move futile. You must also watch his shadow when he leaps high into the air, rolling outward right before he falls into the dirt to avoid the shockwave.
• Dangerous move, but recall your pal back into its sphere right as Anubis starts a massive charge attack, then throw them back out to save them from heavy damage.
