This recipe is crispy from outside, soft from inside and tastes amazing. The special thing is that fiber, potassium and many essential nutrients are found in raw banana, which makes it a good option for healthy breakfast. And eating such tikkis tastes very tasty during the rainy season. So let’s know the recipe for making crispy raw banana tikkis.
Material
Raw bananas-2
Boiled potatoes-2
Green chilli-2-3 (finely chopped)
Ginger-1 tsp grated
Green Coriander – 1 tsp grated
Red chilli powder-½ tsp
Roasted cumin powder-½ tsp
Garam masala-½ tsp
salt-as per taste
Bread crumbs or semolina – 3-4 tbsp
A little oil or ghee for baking

Method
- First of all, wash the raw banana thoroughly and boil it in the cooker till 2-3 whistles. When they cool down, peel them off. Now mash the boiled banana and potatoes well in a big vessel.
- After this, add green chilli, ginger, green coriander, red chilli powder, cumin powder, garam masala and salt as per taste and mix well.
- If the mixture seems too soft, add bread crumbs or semolina to it, so that the tikki can be shaped easily.
Now make round or flat tikkis as per your choice from the prepared mixture. - Heat a non-stick pan and add some oil or ghee on it. Fry the tikkis on medium flame until they become golden and crisp on both sides. When the tikki becomes crispy, take it out in a plate.
- Serve hot raw banana tikkis with green coriander-mint chutney, sweet tamarind chutney or curd. If you wish, you can further enhance its taste by adding chaat masala and finely chopped onion. Apart from morning breakfast, it can also be served as a snack with evening tea.
