During the monsoon session of Parliament, former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and National President of Samajwadi Party (SP) Akhilesh Yadav has made the strongest attack so far on Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and the Modi government at the Center in the Parliament premises. Questioning the working style of the government, he has made such an explosive gesture which has created a stir in the political circles.

Akhilesh Yadav said bluntly that what is the reason why BJP and the Central Government are not able to put any pressure on Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan to resign? He claimed that the government knows very well that if resignation is taken from Dharmendra Pradhan or he himself resigns, then he will reveal many big and hidden secrets of the government to the public. This is the biggest fear due to which BJP is avoiding tightening the noose on any of its allies or ministers.

Pain expressed over the barbaric atrocities on students

The SP chief said very painful things while referring to the atrocities on students during the recent protest. He said, “Whatever happened to the youth and students of the country yesterday, no one can even imagine. Since independence till today, no government in the history of the country would have treated the children of its own country in such inhuman manner.”

He further said that these innocent students, who have come from far-flung areas of the country, have suffered serious head injuries, stitches have been required on their heads, and many youth have even broken bones in their hands and legs. Tear gas shells were mercilessly fired on these children who were peacefully expressing their demands and the police wreaked havoc on them.

‘BJP has prepared a private gang like Hitler’

While attacking the government, Akhilesh Yadav reminded of Hitler’s reign. He said that looking at the horrifying videos that have surfaced on social media, it is clear that just as dictator Hitler used to use a special private gang to crush his political opponents, today we are seeing the same situation in this BJP government.

Making serious allegations, the former CM said that it clearly seemed that apart from police uniform, some private people in plain clothes were fielded who were beating people with sticks. This kind of dictatorship and violence can never be accepted in a democracy. He clarified that Samajwadi Party had strongly opposed this barbarity that day also and even today they stand with the students with full strength.

‘This government should leave its chair with respect’

Taking on the central government, Akhilesh Yadav said that our protests will continue to remove such an oppressive and cruel government from power. Making a strong appeal to the government, he said that instead of forcibly removing and crushing the agitating youth, it is better that this government itself takes moral responsibility and leaves its chair with respect.

Let us tell you that on the first day of the monsoon session last Monday (July 20), the students were going to take out a peaceful march to the Parliament on the call of the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP). But, Delhi Police stopped the agitating students on the way and heavily lathicharged them. Dozens of students have been seriously injured after this dreadful police action, after which politics has become increasingly heated.
