Vaishno Devi Yatra is considered one of the most sacred religious journeys in the country. Every year, lakhs of devotees visit the Vaishno Devi temple situated on the Trikoot hills in Katra, Jammu and Kashmir. It is believed that any wish made with a true heart in the temple of the Goddess is fulfilled. **Where does the journey begin?**

This package starts from Varanasi and includes train travel, hotel accommodation, local transport and meals depending on the plan chosen. The starting price of the package is ₹11,540 per person. This journey will be done by BSB-Jammu Express (12237/12238). This train leaves Varanasi every Thursday at 12:40 pm. It passes through major stations like Jaunpur City, Sultanpur, Lucknow, Shahjahanpur and Moradabad and then reaches Jammu. Passengers will travel in 3-tier AC class.

**What features are included?**

Arrangements have been made to stay in Katra for two nights in ‘Jai Maa Inn’ or any similar 3-star hotel. A shared AC vehicle will be provided for transportation between Jammu Railway Station and the hotel at Katra. Additionally, passengers will be provided drop-off and pick-up facilities up to Banganga; Banganga is the starting point of a trek of about 12 kilometers to the Mata Temple (Bhavan).

**Two types of options**

There are two options available under this package. The ‘Comfort Package’ includes only breakfast at the hotel, while the ‘Deluxe Package’ includes both breakfast and dinner. The per person fare for the Comfort package is set at ₹11,540 on triple-sharing basis, while it is fixed at ₹14,180 for double-sharing and ₹23,860 for single occupancy. Fares for the deluxe package are ₹12,160 for triple-sharing, ₹14,740 for double-sharing and ₹24,970 for single occupancy. There will be separate charges for children between 5 to 11 years of age. This package includes train travel, hotel accommodation, local transport and food as per the plan chosen. However, this does not include air travel, personal expenses, tips, laundry, mineral water, monument entry fees, video camera charges, extra meals, separate sightseeing trips or any other activity costs.
