Veteran actor Shabana Azmi briefly suffered a health scare on Monday while taking part in the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. The 75-year-old actor reportedly experienced dizziness during the demonstration, prompting volunteers and those present at the venue to immediately step in and assist her.
A video from the protest has since gone viral, showing volunteers carefully escorting Azmi away from the crowd to a nearby security cabin, where she rested before recovering from the episode.
Azmi Had Been Actively Supporting the Protest
Before falling ill, Shabana Azmi was actively participating in the march and had also shared glimpses of the protest on social media. Photos and videos showed the actor travelling with protesters on a truck and walking alongside demonstrators.
No Serious Injury Reported
While the sudden spell of dizziness sparked concern among supportersthere has been no indication of any serious medical emergency. Volunteers responded swiftly, ensuring the veteran actor received immediate care and a chance to rest away from the crowd.
