For the Indian youth adventure bike is like a civilian. Keeping this youth in mind, many new and premium models will be introduced in the adventure bike segment in India in the next 12 months. Major companies like Royal Enfield, Hero MotoCorp, KTM and Norton are gearing up to launch new bikes to suit different budgets and riding needs. Let’s know about this bike in brief,

1. Norton Atlas

After coming under the ownership of TVS, Norton Atlas is the first all-new bike from Norton company to be launched in India. It is a premium middleweight adventure tourer bike powered by a 585 cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that generates 69 hp of power and 57.5 Nm of torque. It will get high-tech features like 6-speed gearbox, 8-inch TFT touchscreen display, cornering ABS, traction control, cruise control and adjustable suspension.

2. KTM 490 Adventure

KTM is all set to launch its much-awaited 490 Adventure bike, which will be introduced between the 390 and 790 Adventure. The bike will be powered by a new 490 cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, which will produce around 50 hp of power. It will get long-travel suspension, switchable ABS, traction control, TFT instrument console and spoke wheels.

3. Royal Enfield Himalayan 750

Royal Enfield has started testing its Himalayan 750. The bike will be launched as the company’s flagship adventure bike above the existing Himalayan 450. It will have a new 750 cc parallel-twin engine, which will come with 55 hp of power and a 6-speed gearbox. It features a larger fuel tank, upside-down forks, twin disc brakes at the front and new bodywork for long-distance travel.

4. Hero Xpulse 420

Hero MotoCorp is gearing up to launch its biggest adventure bike ever, the Xpulse 420. The bike will be powered by a 421 cc liquid-cooled engine, which will generate 40 to 45 hp of power. The bike will be more powerful than the Xpulse 210 and will get premium features like USD forks, dual-channel ABS, ride modes and TFT console.
