New Delhi [भारत]July 22 (ANI): Judges of Delhi High Court inaugurated the new Common Bar Room and Canteen in the Lawyers Chambers Block of Rohini District Court Complex.

Justice Sanjeev Narula, Chairman of the Portfolio Committee, inaugurated the new common bar room and canteen. On this occasion, Portfolio Committee members Justice Mini Pushkarna, Justice Amit Mahajan and Justice Tejas Karia were also present.

During the programme, Principal District and Sessions Judge (North-West District) Nisha Saxena, Principal District and Sessions Judge (Northern District) Prem Kumar Bhardwaj and other judges and a large number of lawyers were present.

Bar Association expressed gratitude to the judges

Advocate Pradeep Khatri, Secretary, Rohini Bar Association, highlighted the association's consistent efforts to strengthen the infrastructure and enhance facilities for lawyers. He said that the renovation of the canteen and common bar room reflects the commitment of the Executive Committee for the welfare of the legal fraternity. He expressed his gratitude to the judges and all the people who supported this initiative.

Lawyers will get the facility to rest

Advocate Rajeev Tehlan, President of the Association, thanked the judges, district judiciary and members of the Bar for their continuous support. Advocate Khatri said that the common bar room has necessary facilities for lawyers. This will help them relax and discuss during the day. The canteen will be useful for lawyers as it is located in the Lawyers Chambers itself.

Rohini court hears cases from two districts

Rohini District Court hears criminal, civil and other cases from two districts, i.e. North and North-West Delhi. Earlier, North District was part of Tis Hazari Court. (ANI)
