Hanoi was named the world’s second friendliest city for customer service with 58.6% reviews highlighting friendly staff and service after Edinburgh (59%), according to a new ranking of U.K.-based platform MoneySuperMarket.
Vietnam’s capital was the only Southeast Asian representative in the ranking based on an analysis of more than 100,000 customer reviews of businesses across 107 cities worldwide, including restaurants, bars, tourist attractions, and recreational activities.
Reviews were evaluated according to how frequently they mentioned staff friendliness and the quality of service.

Liverpool (the U.K.) ranked third.
The rest of top 10 were Paris (France), Dublin (Ireland), Montreal (Canada), Vienna (Austria), Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates), Birmingham and Bristol (England).
Vietnam has consistently appeared in global rankings of the most hospitable destinations, while Hanoi has gained increasing recognition among tourists for the quality of service and friendly experiences offered by hotels, restaurants, and attractions across the city.
