New Delhi, July 22:
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Tuesday criticised the Congress, accusing leader Rahul Gandhi of using students as a “political tool” amid protests over the NEET paper leak issue.
His remarks came hours after Congress leaders staged a protest outside Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence, condemning police action against student demonstrators. Pradhan said the government was ready for a detailed discussion in Parliament but alleged that the opposition was instead trying to disrupt the Monsoon Session.
The row follows growing outrage over the NEET controversy, with students demanding accountability and transparency. While the Congress has intensified its protests, the Centre has maintained that concerns can be addressed through parliamentary debate rather than street agitation.
