However, director Destin Daniel Cretton firmly believes that keeping her character under wraps is a positive decision – even if a subsection of people express dissatisfaction about discretion.

As Sadie Sink kept her lips sealed during the interviews, she was hidden from the trailer. Cretton concluded that the curtains have ‘a very real reason’ when asked about his view on fans feeling vexed. “If people are gonna get mad, I can't control that,” he said in an interview with Rolling Stone, before adding, “I wish everything was a secret. Some people wanna know everything, and some people don't.”


The 47-year-old American filmmaker expressed, “There are certain people like me — if I know I'm gonna watch a movie, I try not to even watch the trailers.” Furthermore, he affirmed his decision not to reveal Sink’s role in advance, adding that fans would think the same after watching the film.


“But you'll see when you watch the movie that there's a very real reason not to tell people who Sadie Sink is playing,” he stated. “And I don’t think you'll get mad at it. I think you'll be like, ‘Oh, I'm glad I didn't know that,’” he conveyed his thoughts.

The fourth instalment of Tom Holland ’s ‘Spider-Man’ franchise revolves around the aftermath of people forgetting Peter Parker ’s existence. The lonesome young adult tries to tackle the problem until he encounters a dangerous change and never-before-seen enemies. Along with Holland and Sink, the cast includes Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, and John Bernthal.
