Manyata Dutt, wife of Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, is often in the headlines. Very few people know that Manyata herself has tried her luck in films. He entered the world of acting and struggled a lot to make his mark. However, he did not get the great success he had expected.
Manyata Dutt was born on 22 July 1978 in a Muslim family in Mumbai. His real name is Dilnawaz Shaikh. Some of his childhood was spent in Dubai. Since childhood, he was inclined towards glamor and film world. This dream brought him to Mumbai, where he started trying to make a career in the field of acting.
After entering the film industry, Manyata changed her name to Sara Khan. In the initial phase, he did small roles in some films. At that time she was continuously trying to make a place in big films. She got work in films, but did not get the recognition she wanted as an actress.
Manyata got the most recognition from Prakash Jha’s film ‘Gangajal’ released in 2003. In this film, he performed on the song ‘Alhad Mast Jawani’, which caught the attention of the audience. It was during this film that she got the screen name ‘Manyata’. However, even after this, his film journey could not progress much and he got less opportunities to work in big projects.
After this, Manyata also worked in small budget films. He also acted in a film named ‘Lovers Like Us’. This film brought a big turn in his life, because he met actor Sanjay Dutt in connection with purchasing the rights of this film. Gradually the conversation between the two increased and both came closer to each other.
Sanjay Dutt and Manyata Dutt got married on 7 February 2008. After marriage, Manyata distanced herself from the world of acting and started focusing on her family. In the year 2010, both became parents of twins. His son’s name is Shahran and daughter’s name is Iqra.
Although Manyata’s career as an actress did not last long, she played a new role in her life. She is the CEO of Sanjay Dutt Productions and takes business decisions.
