Police Response at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
On Tuesday evening, a substantial law enforcement presence was observed at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital located in downtown Memphis. Reports indicate that officers from the Memphis Police Department, along with the Tennessee Highway Patrol and the Memphis Safe Task Force, were on-site. Additionally, personnel from the National Guard and Homeland Security were involved in the response.
Authorities took measures to secure the area by blocking off various entrances and exits to the hospital while conducting their operations. By approximately 7:30 PM, some officers and agents were seen departing from the hospital. However, further information regarding the nature of the incident has not been disclosed.
