New Delhi: Sadie Sink is finally giving fans something to work with but not quite enough to solve the mystery. The actress, who stars alongside Tom Holland in the highly anticipated, Spider Man: Brand New Day, has addressed the endless theories surrounding her undisclosed role in the Marvel film, offering a series of cryptic clues that may leave fans with even more questions.

“Since the trailer dropped, I’ve seen so many theories about who I’m playing,” Sink said in an Instagram clip while addressing the speculation. The 24-year-old actress then shared three hints about her character and involvement in the film, carefully choosing her words to keep the biggest secret under wraps. 

Since the film’s trailer was released, fans have been trying to figure out exactly who Sink is playing in the new Spider-Man adventure. Her undisclosed role has become one of the biggest mysteries surrounding the film, with several theories circulating online.

Sink acknowledged the speculation and decided to offer fans a few answers, although her clues were deliberately limited.

The first clarification was perhaps the most obvious one. Sink confirmed that she is not playing Spider-Man in the upcoming film, putting one theory to rest. She also ruled out another familiar character from Peter Parker’s world, Aunt May. The character was previously played by Marisa Tomei in the MCU’s Spider Man films and met her fate in Spider – Man: No Way Home. 

She said, “I can confirm I am not Spider-Man.”

She then joked, “I am not Aunt May.”

While Sink was quick to dismiss those two possibilities, she did confirm one important detail – She is definitely part of Spider Man: Brand New Day. The actress has previously spoken positively about her experience working with Tom Holland, who returns as Peter Parker. However, details about Sink’s character have remained closely guarded, adding to the anticipation surrounding the film.

“And third, I can definitely confirm that I am in this movie. As for who I really am, you’ll have to find out in the theater,” she said.

Sink’s comments have done little to end the speculation. Instead, they have intensified discussions about who she could be playing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Among the theories circulating among fans are characters connected to Spider-Man and the wider Marvel universe, including Gwen Stacy and Jean Grey. However, Marvel has yet to officially confirm Sink’s character.

With the film’s release approaching, fans may not have to wait much longer to discover the truth behind her mysterious role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
