According to the police, 35-year-old Hareram Kishunji Singh was allegedly murdered by his wife Sunitadevi Hareram Singh. Both are originally residents of Rohtas district of Bihar. It is alleged that on July 19, a dispute started between the husband and wife over the issue of not bringing saree home. Within no time the argument escalated so much that the matter reached the point of violence.

Husband attacked with pressure cooker lid

Investigation has revealed that the woman allegedly first attacked the husband with the lid of a pressure cooker and then strangled him. After the incident he told the police that the death occurred in an accident. On this basis, initially the police registered the Accidental Death Report (ADR).

Changed direction after post mortem

However, the postmortem report from the government hospital changed the direction of the case. Medical examination revealed the cause of death to be suffocation, after which the police suspected the incident. After this, the relatives of the deceased and the landlord were interrogated. Police say that based on the facts found during the investigation, suspicion on the wife deepened. Badlapur East Police arrested the accused woman on Tuesday.

Investigation of evidence started

Police have also started examining his mobile and other evidence. The local court has sent him to police custody till July 29. At present the police is investigating the case from every aspect.
