The 18-year-old actress passed away in a fatal car crash in Maryland, USA, in the early hours of July 21, 2026. Upon hearing the news, the ‘Enola Holmes 3’ actress paid a heartfelt tribute to the late actress.

According to the press release from the Frederick County Sheriff's Office , Kaylee Hottle passed away due to a single-vehicle collision, per E News . “The preliminary investigation revealed that a 1995 Honda Accord, operated by a 19-year-old Frederick man, travelled off the right side of the two-lane roadway and struck a culvert,” the statement read, and continued, “Excessive speed is believed to be a contributing factor in the collision.”
