One such case came to light in the United States, where an employee was fired simply for not paying for a biscuit worth $1.95 (approximately Rs 180). However, the truth of the matter was something else.

What is the whole matter?

In fact, a 60-year-old man named Kurt Crome had been working at Ford's truck plant in Kentucky, USA, for the past 11 years. One day, he purchased biscuits from a self-checkout machine, but due to a technical problem, the company assumed he hadn't paid for them and had simply taken them without paying. The company then accused the man and immediately fired him, but after some time, the company learned the truth.

How did you find out the truth?

Let us tell you that when the man's bank records were checked after some time, it was found that he had not taken the biscuit without paying, but the payment of $ 1.95 had been made successfully, after which the company asked the man to come back to work.  

The employee took action against the company.

The employee has decided to take legal action against Ford and the food service company, Aramark. His lawyer argued that the employee should not have been fired based on a theft allegation after the payment was made and the records were available. The employee's lawyer is currently preparing to send legal notices to both companies.

Did the employee return to work?

The company not only offered the man a reinstatement, but also offered to pay his outstanding salary of approximately 2.8 million rupees. Despite this, Kurt Krone refused to report. Kurt claimed that he was accused of theft without any investigation and was not even given a chance to present his case.
