According to All India Bullion Association, today the price of 24 carat gold has increased to Rs 1,49,600 per 10 grams. The futures price of gold on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) has reached Rs 1,45,693 with a huge rise of Rs 2810. On the last trading day it had closed strongly at Rs 1,42,883 per 10 grams. The price of spot gold in the international market has also jumped to $ 4,127.60 per ounce.

Unlike gold, today a slight downward trend in silver prices has been recorded in the market. The futures price of silver on MCX has fallen by Rs 984 to Rs 2,26,014 per kg, whereas yesterday it was at Rs 2,26,998. The price of silver in Delhi bullion market has increased to Rs 2,30,000 per kg. In the international markets, spot silver is trading strongly at the level of $ 60.06 an ounce.

A lot of change has been seen in the price of 24 carat gold in the market today in many big cities of India. According to GoodReturns, the price of 10 grams of gold in the capital Delhi, Patna, Lucknow, Noida, Ghaziabad and Jaipur is Rs 1,46,560. At the same time, its price in the bullion market of Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Pune and Bengaluru is Rs 1,46,510 per 10 grams. Customers see this slight difference in prices due to local taxes in different cities.

Opinion of market experts

Market experts believe that due to the strength in global markets, there has been a huge rise in gold prices. Saumil Gandhi, senior analyst at HDFC Securities, said spot demand has improved significantly due to positive foreign cues. After last week’s fall, gold has strengthened for the third consecutive session due to increased buying at lower levels. Due to strong spot demand in silver also, there is full expectation of rise in futures prices.
