Salman Khan supported the Students’ Protest : The ongoing protest by students at Jantar Mantar demanding the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan in the NEET paper leak case has taken the form of a mass movement. During this demonstration, when students tried to march to Parliament on 20 July, the police brutally beat students, women, children and elderly people. After which the protesters got angry at the security forces. At the same time, Bollywood actor Salman Khan has expressed grief over the violence that took place during the peaceful demonstration of students. He has also praised this protest for education reforms.

Salman Khan wrote in an He said, “I really appreciate their step. They have shown their enthusiasm towards building their future and building a better, educated India through dedication, honesty and hard work. This movement or protest is the right way, and the students have done it peacefully. They are very courageous and brave. This generation, inspired and enthusiastic about education, will bring glory to India.”

The Bollywood actor further wrote, “This issue is between the students and the education system; it should not be given a political colour. The credit for this should go only to the students of our country. I am sure that the government will also give them full support and make the education system stronger. This is a win-win situation for all. Hoping and praying for a positive decision. May God bless all those who want to get educated. Education should be the next trend and fashion and it should become more popular and attractive every year, so that other countries can take advantage of it.” People should come to India to study and India should become an education hub.”

Let us tell you that apart from Salman Khan, many Bollywood celebrities including actor Sonu Sood, Naseeruddin Shah and singer Arijit Singh have strongly criticized the action of Delhi Police against the students. The police are being accused of turning the protests violent. Many pictures are going viral on social media, in which security forces are seen lathicharged on students.
