UPSC CAPF Answer Key 2026: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the provisional answer key for the CAPF Assistant Commandant recruitment examination on July 22, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the written examination held on July 19, 2026, can download the answer key by visiting the official website, upsc.gov.in.

The answer key has been released in PDF format, allowing candidates to cross-check their answers and estimate their probable scores. The Commission has also provided a facility to raise objections against the provisional answer key within a stipulated timeframe.

What is the UPSC CAPF marking scheme?
The UPSC CAPF Assistant Commandant recruitment involves an examination consisting of two papers. The total marks for both papers combined are 450. Paper-I carries 250 marks, while Paper-II carries 200 marks. The marking scheme is as follows:

In Paper-I, one-third (1/3) of a mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. However, there will be no negative marking for unattempted questions.
Paper-II is descriptive in nature, and no negative marking applies to incorrect answers.
