A fresh addition is on the horizon for the Range Rover lineup, and this one takes a bold step toward a more sedan-like silhouette than ever before. Though its exterior remains hidden under camouflage, the new model has been confirmed as the Range Rover GT.

With coupe-styled SUVs becoming increasingly common, models like the Range Rover Velar and Evoque already showcase sloping rooflines that echo the trend. However, the upcoming GT pushes this design philosophy even further. True to its name, Range Rover describes the GT as a vehicle built to redefine the 'grand touring segment' in a 'distinctly Range Rover manner.' Essentially, it aims to combine the comfort and refinement of a long-distance luxury tourer with the off-road capability that has always been central to the Range Rover identity.

The Range Rover GT will debut first as a fully electric model, while a hybrid version is expected to follow later in its production cycle. Although the brand has not yet announced a specific launch date for the hybrid, more information is expected before the end of the year. Regardless of the chosen powertrain, every GT will be based on Range Rover’s new EMA platform, making it the first vehicle to utilise this architecture. The introduction of the EMA platform also brings a completely redesigned interior, which has been revealed without any camouflage.

Inside, the GT’s cabin marks a sharp departure from the current Range Rover design language, though it retains a few familiar cues. The centre console is devoid of traditional buttons or switches, leaving the large, tablet-style central touchscreen as the primary interface for all major functions. This screen is complemented by a wide but compact digital driver display that extends slightly from the dashboard, replacing the conventional instrument cluster.

The steering wheel now serves as the main hub for physical controls and features a new two-spoke design that blends seamlessly with the minimalist horizontal layout of the dashboard. Range Rover notes that a single, hidden air vent stretches across the width of the dash to manage airflow throughout the cabin. The finely woven textile trim that wraps the dashboard conceals integrated speakers within, continuing the brand’s focus on a streamlined, reductive design aesthetic.

In the rear, one photo reveals that the GT will be available in a four-seat configuration, where the centre section is equipped with a screen and additional storage space. Although full details remain limited, Range Rover has stated that the GT will offer 'class-leading second-row legroom,' making it an appealing option for families seeking comfort and luxury.
