Salman Khan has expressed public support for students participating in the Cockroach Janata Party’s (CJP) protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar, becoming the latest Bollywood figure to weigh in on the ongoing demonstrations over the alleged NEET-UG 2026 paper leak. In a lengthy Instagram post, Khan called the paper leak “a very serious issue,” praised the students’ courage, and urged that the movement remain focused on education reform rather than becoming politicized.

In a lengthy note shared on Instagram on Wednesday, accompanied by an old photograph of himself from his school days, Khan expressed distress over how the demonstration had unfolded. “It was such a peaceful movement, I feel so sad that it had to take a violent turn. My heart goes out to the students and their families who were hurt. Paper leak is a very serious issue,” he wrote.

Khan went on to commend the students for uniting in pursuit of a stronger education system, adding that he was glad to see parents standing behind them throughout the movement. While he did not explicitly name the CJP in his post, his message closely mirrored the demands and tone of the ongoing protest.
