A years-old controversy involving actor Karan Kundrra has resurfaced after his former co-star Saanvie Tallwar shared fresh details about an alleged on-set assault during their time working together on Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum. In new interviews, Tallwar accused Kundrra of both harassment and physical abuse during filming, claiming she was slapped and verbally abused after reacting to an unplanned kiss, with the incident resurfacing months after Kundrra’s engagement to actress Tejasswi Prakash.

Speaking to Filmibeat, Tallwar recounted an incident during a scene shoot where she alleges Kundrra kissed her before the director had called for the take to begin. According to her, she reacted by slapping him in response. She said, “There was a scene, but the director hadn’t clapped action; even before that, he kissed me, and I slapped him. He didn’t react at that time, but then he came back after some time and slapped me hard. There is a difference between the intensity of a girl’s and a man’s slap. I fell on the floor, and then he abused my family and me.”

Tallwar further claimed that no one on set intervened at the time, though producer Ektaa Kapoor later apologized to her on Kundrra’s behalf and helped smooth things over. She added, “Nobody supported me. Later, Ektaa ma’am (Kapoor) apologised on Karan’s behalf and supported me. She managed to make things easy.”
