Bollywood actor Bobby Deol is playing the main villain in Tamil Nadu CM Vijay ’s film ‘ Jana Nayagan ’. During a recent interview, the actor spoke about working with Vijay, Nandamuri Balakrishna and Pawan Kalyan . While talking about them, Bobby made a funny joke. He said that many of the South stars he has worked with have gone on to become ministers.

Bobby talks about Vijay and ‘Jana Nayagan’In a conversation with The Hollywood Reporter, the ‘Alpha’ actor said he did not stay in regular touch with Vijay during the long wait for ‘Jana Nayagan’ to release. He shared that Vijay likes to stay away from heavy promotions and prefers to let his work speak for itself.

Bobby said, “No, I didn’t. He doesn’t like to do too much promotion. He doesn’t do anything. He just believes, and so I was like, fine, you know, that’s how he likes it.”

Bobby on working in South Indian films While speaking about his South films, Bobby shared a funny observation about his co-stars. He said, “Then, yeah, I worked with Nandamuri Balakrishna in Daaku Maharaaj. But the funniest thing is, every time I’ve worked with these actors, they’ve all become ministers. It’s just something very funny. Then I worked with Pawan Kalyan in Hari Hara Veera Mallu. I’m just joking.”

About his charactersIn ‘Jana Nayagan’, Bobby plays Phoenix, the main villain opposite Vijay. Bobby played Balwant Singh Thakur in ‘Daaku Maharaaj’ alongside Balakrishna. He also played Aurangzeb in ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’, which stars Pawan Kalyan, who is currently serving as Andhra Pradesh’s Deputy Chief Minister.

About ‘Jana Nayagan’Directed by H Vinoth , ‘Jana Nayagan’ remains an important film as it marks Vijay’s final outing as he focuses on his political career. The film features Pooja Hegde and Mamitha Baiju as the female leads and Bobby Deol as the main antagonist.
