“Hastinapur Ke Veer”, has grabbed people’s attention through its interesting tales from the childhood days of Pandavas and Kauravas and their lessons in life that made them what they were. Such is the relationship of Guru Dronacharya (played by Jiten Lalwani ) and Arjun (played by Urva Savaliya ).

Although their onscreen chemistry is built on the age-old principle of guru-shishya parampara , off screen, the duo of Jiten and Urva enjoys a cordial bond, which has definitely improved their acting prowess. Whatever it may be, from rehearsing scenes together, discussing archery positions, or simply chitchatting between shots, Jiten has taken the responsibility of a mentor for himself, assisting Urva in portraying the character of Arjun.

Talking about his bond Jiten Lalwani shared, “Urva is an incredibly sincere and hardworking child. His curiosity and eagerness to learn are much like how Arjun is described in our scriptures. I never feel like I'm working with a child because of the maturity he brings to the set. Even when the cameras aren't rolling, he asks thoughtful questions, pays attention to every little detail and is constantly trying to improve. At the same time, we also have fun moments, we joke around, chat about random things and keep the atmosphere light between takes. Watching someone so young approach his craft with such dedication is truly inspiring and I genuinely enjoy being around him. I hope the warmth and trust we've built off screen shines through our journey as Dronacharya and Arjun on screen as well.”

Earlier while talking about his role, Jiten shared in a statement, “I’ve always felt a strong connection with mythological stories , and having earlier been part of a few, I’ve experienced how powerful and timeless these characters are. But Dronacharya is very different, he is the silent force who moulds the destinies of both the Pandavas and Kauravas. I remember that during our workshops, it made me think about my own journey and the mentors who have guided me. What I love about playing mythological roles is that they always come with layers. Dronacharya's role is about strength, responsibility and choices. All these factors make this story and this character so special to me.”
