DDA Housing Scheme 2026: Do you want to buy a ready-to-move-in and affordable home in Delhi? Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has launched Karmajeevi Awas Yojana 2026, under which 25% discount is being given on more than 1,200 flats in Narela for government employees and working professionals.
This scheme, launched before the Independence Day, is for both working and retired government employees as well as people from corporate, business, entrepreneurs and professional sectors.
According to DDA officials, registration will start from July 24 while booking will start on August 15 on the DDA Housing Portal on first-come-first-served (FCFS) basis.
What are the prices?
After 25 percent discount, prices start at ₹33.4 lakh for 1 BHK, ₹75.55 lakh for 2 BHK and ₹1.06 crore for 3 BHK apartments, according to DDA officials.
Since these homes are ready-to-move-in, buyers can avoid construction delays and either move in immediately or rent out the property.
Why only Narela?
These flats are located in Pocket-11 and Sector A1-A4 of Narela. DDA says that due to better infrastructure and connectivity, Narela is emerging as one of the fastest growing residential areas of Delhi.
Officials said that the project offers very good connectivity to the core areas of the city, as it is about 1.2 km from the upcoming metro station, 1.9 km from the proposed RRTS station, 500 meters from Urban Extension Road-I (UER-I), 1.1 km from GT Karnal Road and 6.15 km from UER-II.
It is also near the proposed Education Hub, Sports Complex and Integrated Sports Stadium and overlooks the Mamurpur forest.
The authority believes that such infrastructure projects will improve long-term livability in the area and increase investment opportunities. DDA officials said that the authority is already seeing tremendous demand in Narela.
In the first quarter of the current financial year, the authority sold 1,284 flats worth more than ₹1,020 crore, of which 1,153 units, or about 90 percent, were in Narela. The new scheme, which offers ready-to-move-in homes at affordable prices, is expected to further increase the number of home buyers in this rapidly growing residential area.
Benefits for buyers
Unlike many other housing schemes, DDA has not imposed any restrictions on ownership of pre-existing property, which means people who already own a house can also apply. All the flats will be allotted on freehold basis, giving the buyers complete ownership rights.
The authority also allows buyers to create a larger unit by combining adjacent flats (approval required). The booking process will be completely online and buyers will also have the option to view sample flats before purchasing.
