Actress Alia Bhatt on Thursday reacted to the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and students’ protests for education reforms. Sharing the note on Instagram, she said, “The past few days have repeatedly broken my heart and then mended it with hope. Behind every student who stands up for his cause, there is a dream, a family of hope, and a journey of countless sacrifices. They represent not only themselves, but all the people who have supported them, and at the same time, they are also paving a better path for those who come after them.”
Alia further wrote, “I bow before their courage. Their determination is like a mirror for all of us, asking us whether we are really listening to those who will inherit and shape the future of this country? For the students. By the students. The future belongs to them. Jai Hind.”
