Singer and actress Selena Gomez celebrated her 34th birthday during a trip to Italy with husband Benny Blanco, and now the music producer has shared a glimpse of her special day.

On Wednesday, Blanco posted a video showing the couple taking part in an Italian cooking class. The video begins with Blanco saying, "Let's make an Italian feast for my wife's birthday," then shows the couple preparing fresh pasta together.

In the video, Gomez was seen kneading the pasta dough, rolling it out and putting it in the pasta machine while Blanco cheered her on. The couple later prepared several Italian dishes, including Fiori di zucca and Eggplant Persiana.

As they enjoyed the meal, Blanco complimented Gomez's cooking, saying, "My baby makes the best eggplant persiana." After tasting the dish, he said, "This is the best thing I have ever tasted in Italy and you made it." Gomez immediately responded, "No, you made it."

The video also showed the couple enjoying the beautiful views of Italy, raising a toast together and spending time outside. It ends with Gomez relaxing after her cooking session, while Blanco softly wishes her, "Happy birthday baby, I love you."

The restaurant owner praised the couple

Earlier, on July 21, the couple had dinner at Trattoria Della Santa in Bologna, Italy. According to PEOPLE, restaurant owner Riccardo Lelli said they were "absolutely wonderful" to the guests and praised their kindness.

Lelli said the reservation was made a few days in advance for a private table, but the couple chose to sit outside under Bologna's famous Portici. He added, "They were absolutely wonderful, very sweet, good-hearted people. They complimented us so much on the food, on the service, and they were just great clients."
