Rubina Dilaik takes an indirect dig at Ram Kapoor amid his on-screen kiss remarks in Lock Upp 2; says, 'People are reading between the lines'

Rubina Dilaik has sparked speculation after making remarks about an actor’s on-screen kissing scenes during a podcast with Hina Khan , Abhinav Shukla and Rocky Jaiswal. While she did not mention anyone by name, fans believe she was referring to Ram Kapoor , who recently spoke about his on-screen kiss with Sakshi Tanwar on Lock Upp 2 .
The conversation came as Rubina discussed how old interviews often resurface when celebrities appear on reality shows.
“Maybe it’s an old interview. But when someone is in a reality show, even the old videos pick up and do well,” she said.
Ram Kapoor had recently opened up on Lock Upp 2 about filming an on-screen kissing scene with Sakshi Tanwar. Around the same time, some of his older interviews discussing his wife Gautami Kapoor’s reaction to those scenes also began circulating on social media again.
Without naming Ram, Rubina referred to an interview in which an actor was asked about his wife’s reaction to his on-screen kisses. She pointed out that before the wife could answer, the actor stepped in to explain the situation himself.
“When he was asked about the kissing scenes, rather than letting her answer, he abruptly cut her off saying, ‘Before she says anything, I want to put up the perspective,’” Rubina said.
She also spoke about how social media users interpreted the interaction.
“People in the comment section are writing that she’s silently listening, but she has a different perspective that she’s not able to speak. When he finishes, she just says, ‘Yeah, I think I had a knee-jerk reaction.’ People are reading between the lines and saying it is not just a knee-jerk reaction… that there was more to it,” she added.
Although Rubina never took Ram Kapoor’s name, many fans on social media have assumed that her comments were directed at him, especially as his old interviews on the same topic have resurfaced following his appearance on Lock Upp 2. Neither Rubina nor Ram has commented on the speculation.
