Bandhan Bank Hikes Fixed Deposit Rates: Earn Up to 7.95% Interest on 2 to 3-Year FDs:

In excellent news for fixed-income investors and retirees seeking high-yield savings options, Bank has revised its Fixed Deposit (FD) interest rates. The private sector lender is now offering a peak interest rate of 7.95 per cent for senior citizens on tenures ranging from 2 years to less than 3 years. Regular depositors can earn an impressive 7.45 per cent for the same investment duration.

For longer-term tenures of 3 to under 5 years, the bank offers fixed interest rates of 7.75% for senior citizens and 7.25% for general public customers.

Savings Account & FCNR(B) Rates for Overseas Investors

Beyond domestic fixed deposits, Bank continues to offer an attractive interest rate of 6.5 per cent on savings account balances ranging above ₹5 lakh up to ₹10 lakh.

For Non-Resident Indian (NRI) clients, the bank has also enhanced returns on Foreign Currency Non-Resident (Bank) [FCNR(B)] deposits in US Dollars. USD-denominated deposits of $1 million and above for tenures between 3 to 5 years now fetch an interest rate of 7.1 per centwhile deposits below $1 million yield 7.0 per centenabling NRI investors to lock in high yields while mitigating exchange rate volatility.
