Telugu producer and actor Bandla Ganesh recently met Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar along with his family to personally invite them to a special family celebration. The visit was for sharing the wedding invitation of Ganesh's daughter, Janani, which is scheduled to take place in Hyderabad on August 16.
The meeting was cordial, with the producer extending the wedding invitation to the star couple. Pictures from the interaction have since drawn attention on social media.
Wedding preparations underway
The wedding marks an important occasion for the Ganesh family. As preparations continue, the producer has been personally inviting friends and well-wishers from the Telugu film industry.
Producer clarifies property disputeOn the other hand, Bandla Ganesh found himself in the headlines over a legal dispute involving one of his family's properties.
According to Telugu Gulte, the case concerns a 500-square-yard property owned by Parameswara Poultry Farm. The land had been mortgaged to Union Bank as collateral for a loan. After the repayment was not completed within the stipulated period the bank auctioned the property to recover the outstanding dues.
Ganesh challenged the auction through legal channels. However he was unsuccessful in securing relief. After the High Court ruled against him, he approached the Supreme Court, which also declined to interfere and dismissed his petition.
Bandla Ganesh issues statement after verdictFollowing the Supreme Court's decision, Bandla Ganesh took to X (formerly Twitter) to address speculation surrounding the case.
In his post, Bandla Ganesh wrote, "The case is related only to a single 500-square-yard property located in Aparna Sinar Valley, Shaikpet. Some people are under the misconception that this case involves all my properties or that I have lost my entire wealth. That is completely false. This case is limited only to the 500-square-yard property in Aparna Sinar Valley, Shaikpet. Union Bank sold that property in 2022 for Rs 8.51 crore."
Mahesh Babu gears up for next big film
On the work front, Mahesh Babu was last seen in 'Guntur Kaaram', the 2024 Telugu action drama directed by Trivikram Srinivas. The film also starred Sreeleela and Meenakshi Chaudhary in prominent roles.
The actor is now working on SS Rajamouli's 'Varanasi', one of the most anticipated projects in Indian cinema.
